Disagreeing Without Damaging the Relationship:
Helping Parents and Pastors Navigate Faith, Values, and Boundaries with Young Adults

Tuesday, April 14 from 5-6 p.m. Pacific

You will receive the link to the Zoom meeting upon registration.

When the young adults you care about begin to express thoughts and make decisions that confuse (or infuriate) you, what do you do? Is there a way to stay connected, show respect, and share convictions?

This seminar is for anyone who has at least one young adult in their life and wants guidance as they navigate or anticipate the changes in their relationship.

During this hour, we will:

  • describe the developmental stage of “emerging adulthood,”

  • clarify appropriate boundaries as they transition from adolescence to adulthood,

  • explore how faith compounds the challenges (and informs the solutions) of these conversations, and

  • provide practical tools for navigating disagreement in this stage of life.

This training will feature 40 minutes of teaching followed by 20 minutes of optional live Q&A. Active participation (e.g., having your camera on) is up to you!
